OPG (Orthopantomogram), Dental healthcare

These are special x-rays of the lower face, teeth and jaws. An OPG provides a panoramic view of the mouth, teeth and bones of the upper and lower jaws. The Lat Ceph results in a lateral or sideways view of the face. At Skye Dental we use the latest digital OPG machine which reduces radiation and gives instant images on a computer screen eliminating the need for tedious x-ray processing.

Digital Sensor X Rays

This is another advanced digital radiology technology similar to OPG X-Rays that provide excellent detail of one or a few teeth, using less radiation. The images are instant and once again eliminates needs for tedious manual x ray processing. The images can also be manipulated in order to get a better view of the patient’s oral structures.

Helps  get a root canal done in a quick, smooth and efficient manner. Rotary endodontics uses electrical instruments as compared to manual files that have been widely previously used. Its efficiency allows us to complete a root canal faster with a better degree of cleaning and shaping than manual files.
